Zřícenina hradu Alamut, která se nachází v provincii Kazvín v dnešním Íránu, už dlouho zajímá archeology, ale jak píše deník TehranTimes, íránští archeologové zde nedávno objevili něco ohromujícího – vodovodní potrubí staré nejméně deset století.
Horská pevnost Alamut byla postavena v 9. století a v následujících staletích se stala útočištěm a spolehlivou základnou prvních ismailitů – asasínů, kteří byli známí jako nesmiřitelní nepřátelé křižáků.
K jejich překvapení našli odborníci v ruinách kdysi prosperující asasínské pevnosti pozůstatky vodovodního systému, který se skládal z přehrady a složitého systému tunelů a koryt, díky nimž voda stoupala do výšky nejméně 200 metrů.
Vzhledem k tomu, že se pevnost nachází na vrcholu hory, tak složitá inženýrská stavba, která zásobovala obyvatele Alamutu vodou, jednoduše šokuje představivost moderního člověka, který se většinou domnívá, že ve středověku nic podobného neexistovalo, a to ani v “civilizované” Evropě. Ukázalo se, že tehdejší obyvatelé dnešního Íránu, tehdejší provincie Velká Tartárie, byli mnohem vyspělejší civilizací než středověká Evropa. To však není jediný důkaz nepohodlné historické pravdy, kterou současný západní svět nechce uznat a přijmout.
Mimochodem, v Íránu je mnohem více starých vodovodů, například ve městě Gonabád je stále v provozu 3 000 let starý systém, který zásobuje čistou pitnou vodou 40 000 obyvatel a je zapsán na seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO.
